Inaguration Request Form
Thank you for your interest in the events surrounding the 57th Presidential Inauguration on January 21, 2013. This page contains information regarding the swearing-in ceremony, the Inaugural Parade, and other related events. Please check back frequently as this site will be updated as new, more detailed information becomes available.
Swearing-in Tickets
Please be aware that, after fielding requests for more than 10,000 tickets, Senator Casey’s office is no longer accepting requests for tickets to the swearing-in ceremony. All previous submitted requests will be entered into a random online lottery to determine ticket distribution. Every constituent who requested tickets will be contacted shortly via e-mail and updated on the status of their request.
If you are not successful in obtaining tickets, please be aware that the Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) has announced that the entire length of the National Mall will be opened to the public to allow even more people to witness the swearing-in of the President. From 4th Street and beyond, tickets will not be required to see the swearing-in ceremony from a vantage point in sight of the United States Capitol Building. Please visit the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies website to learn more about the non-ticketed viewing areas:
Balls, Galas, Parties and Parade
The President has announced there will be only two official balls celebrating his inauguration this year: the Commander in Chief’s Ball, which is open to invited guests only, and the Inaugural Ball, open to some members of the public via an online ticketing process. Both balls will be held at the Washington Convention Center on Monday, January 21, 2013. Unfortunately, the ticketing process for the Inaugural Ball is complete and no more tickets are available to the general public for purchase.
Applications to participate in the official Inaugural Day parade are no longer being accepted.
