"My thoughts and prayers are with the people of France, the residents of Paris, and the people directly affected by the terrorist attacks today. I applaud the security personnel that bravely responded to resolve the hostage situation and all those who cared for the individuals who were wounded and killed.
France has been a staunch ally and important partner in the fight against terrorism, especially against ISIS. We stand in solidarity with them today as they begin to recover from this violent attack."
