Senator Casey attended a ceremony at the French Embassy at which eleven Pennsylvania veterans and other U.S. veterans were awarded the French Legion of Honor for their service in France during World War II. Senator Casey met with the Veterans before the ceremony and discussed his visit to Normandy for the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day invasion in June 2014.
