Because it’s the Cup: Senators Casey, Feinstein Place Friendly Wager on Stanley Cup Finals

Washington DC- With the Pittsburgh Penguins and San Jose Sharks set to square off in the Stanley Cup Finals, U.S. Senators Bob Casey (D-PA) and Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) have placed a friendly wager on the outcome. The Senator with the losing team will deliver a home state product to the other. Casey and Feinstein have decided on a Whiskey vs Wine matchup. Casey has wagered some of Pittsburgh’s own Wigle Whiskey and Senator Feinstein has wagered California chardonnay.

“The Penguins have been the hottest team in hockey since January so I have no doubt that they will win against the Sharks,” Senator Casey said. “It’s time for Pittsburgh to once again be the home of Lord Stanley’s Cup.”
