WASHINGTON, DC- With the last vote of the 110th Congress being cast last week, U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) did not miss a single vote during the 2 years of the 110th Congress, his first two years in office. “The people of Pennsylvania sent me to Washington to be their advocate and fight on their behalf to ensure that their voices are heard in the United States Senate,” said Senator Casey. “It is my belief that public service is a privilege and it has been my honor to represent 12 million Pennsylvanians. Every time I go to the Senate floor to vote, I remember my pledge to those Pennsylvanians to foster financial security for their families, protect their children, invest in their futures and promote honesty and accountability in government.” Senator Casey is one of only seven senators to make all 657 votes in the 110th Congress. The other U.S. senators were Olympia Snowe (R-ME), Susan Collins (R-ME), Ken Salazar (D-CO), Herb Kohl (D-WI), Russ Feingold (D-WI) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA). ###
