WASHINGTON, DC— U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) today released the following statement regarding the winter storm affecting Pennsylvania and his coordination with the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) to help those affected:

“As the severe winter storm moves through Pennsylvania and the state grapples with ice, bad road conditions and power outages, my office has been in contact with PEMA for an assessment of the effects from the storm and to offer to help secure any federal assistance that is needed.  I will continue to monitor the situation and offer to help where needed to coordinate federal, state and local response.”
