WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Senators Arlen Specter and Bob Casey and Congressmen Paul Kanjorski, Tim Holden, Christopher Carney and Patrick Murphy wrote to President Bush urging him to provide federal assistance for Northeast Pennsylvania counties that were devastated by severe thunderstorms and flooding on November 16-17, 2006. This letter is a follow-up request presenting new information regarding the extent of the damage.
