Washington, D.C. – With the Penn State Nittany Lions and the University of Washington Huskies set to square off in the 2017 Fiesta Bowl, U.S. Senators Bob Casey (D-PA) and Maria Cantwell (D-WA) have placed a friendly wager on the outcome. The senator with the losing team will deliver a home state product to the other. Casey has wagered an assortment of ice cream from Penn State’s Berkey Creamery. Cantwell has wagered smoked Pacific salmon from Pike Place Market and craft beer from Elysian Brewing Company.

“While I’d love for my colleague to try some of Pennsylvania’s finest ice cream, I have total confidence in the Nittany Lions ability to beat the Huskies,” said Senator Casey. “I look forward to watching Penn State complete their season with a win.”
