WASHINGTON, DC-U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) today applauded the agreement reached to establish the American Revolution Center museum in Center City Philadelphia.  In an agreement announced today, the museum would be located at 3rd and Chestnut streets.

“This represents another major step for Independence National Historic Park and for historic preservation at Valley Forge,” said Senator Casey.  “The establishment of the American Revolution Center among our nation’s leading landmarks will round out the experience for the millions who visit Philadelphia to learn about our nation’s founding. Secretary Salazar, the National Park Service, Gerry Lenfest and the leadership of the American Revolution Center deserve credit for forging this important agreement.”
