Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Bob Casey released the following statement marking the 14th Anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001:

“Today, we pause to remember those lives we lost 14 years ago on September 11th, 2001. Every day, we remember and honor those who showed valor and courage, from the heroes on Flight 93 to the first responders who risked their lives to save others in New York and Washington.  Their acts of selflessness and bravery in the midst of terror united us as a nation, and continue to inspire us to defeat those who invoke terror on the world.  Let us take today to honor their sacrifice, and pray for their families and all of our service members serving around the globe.”
