Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) released a statement on the passing of United States District Court Judge Richard P. Conaboy:
“Today, our Commonwealth is mourning the passing of U.S. District Court Judge Richard P. Conaboy. We are grateful for his lifetime of service, including his 39 years on the federal bench and his time as a judge on the Court of Common Pleas in Lackawanna County. Judge Conaboy pursued justice and fairness while maintaining a fidelity to the law.
In addition to his decades of service to our State and our Nation, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, who will be remembered as much for his humility as his many achievements. My prayers and those of my family are with the Conaboy family.”
